Sam and Max, putting in work
|
These past few weeks have been mostly steady with Sam and Max continuing to work on their head control during tummy time. Sam is still consistently stronger, and can keep his head up for more time than Max; however, Max has some tricks of his own. Just this past weekend Max started rolling from his tummy to his back, and from his back to his tummy, all on the same day! It was a surprise for both Amanda and me, and now we have something else to worry about with Max being able to flip in his sleep. So far it's been fine, and hopefully this won't interrupt night sleep in the future. Here are some pictures from the past two weeks.

Classic Sam and Max

Something we've noticed about tummy time is that Sam very quickly learned to place his hands beneath his head, which gives him support to be able to look up for longer periods of time. Max is less certain about what to do with his hands, and he often has them wide (like in the above photo) so he quickly tires and takes a break. I'm sure he'll figure out where to place his hands soon enough!

I love seeing how individual they are becoming. Two separate kiddoes. The time starts flying, so I am glad you have this diary going! Thanks for sharing. Wish I could read their thoughts.... <3 Nancy
