Sam and Max say "Großtante Inge, danke für die Kleidung" (Great Aunt Inge, thank you for the clothes) |
We've definitely found our routine by now as parents, and the weeks fly by faster and faster. The boys continue to develop and each has their own habits and behaviors. Sam is getting his first tooth, which may be the cause of some of his recent sleeplessness at night. Sam is also great at standing with assistance, whereas Max isn't nearly as interested in using his legs to stand up, even with help. On the other hand, Max's sleep has been excellent lately, dutifully taking all his naps and not making a peep at night. Also, Max has recently started grabbing at his own feet, and his socks seem to have a habit of winding up in his mouth!
This past Monday we had a somewhat belated six month pediatrician appointment, and the twins' development continues to be healthy. They're growing nicely, up to just over 16 pounds each, and are meeting all the milestones for coordination (rolling, grabbing at toys, etc.). Sam and Max are doing well.
Here are some photos from the past few weeks:

The Pacific Northwest Kaiser families, all together

We visited the Bellevue Kaisers this past Nov 7th to celebrate Uncle Ed's birthday. It was really nice to spend the time together, and we took the opportunity to get this wonderful photo of all eight of us together, the first ever double-family photo.
