Happy New Year

Samta Claus and Maxwelf say "Happy holidays and happy new year, everyone!"

Many of you will recognize this photo from the holiday card we sent out this year, which is why this post is showing up late; we didn't want to steal our own thunder. However, we also wanted to have this recorded in the blog for posterity, so here it is again.

Overall we've had a relaxing and quiet holiday season. The boys continue to increase their mobility and activity. Max is just starting to crawl (its more of a scoot), while Sam is more stationary, but both babies are quite adept at rolling around the playpen, or wherever we happen to set them. They certainly can't be left unattended on changing tables or beds anymore, those days are long gone!

The only other development is that Sam is teething again. It looks like his two top front teeth are just starting to come in, and he's been a bit crabby lately, but not too much. I'm sure Max's next teeth aren't far behind. To the photos!

Beet-face is almost exciting as spinach-face

This twin feeding chair is amazing as it is filthy

Sam, letting it all hang out, says "Thanks Aunt Sarah for the outfit!"

Sam wins the toy in this moment, but Max tends to win more overall

A charming Max says "Hey ladies, there's enough room in this playpen for everyone."
