| Sam is walking! |
Ever since the very start of this blog I've been waiting to write a post titled "Baby steps". I was tempted to use this title many times when describing some incremental improvements in the boys' skills, but I always resisted the temptation so that I could save this title for when they started walking, and that day has finally arrived. Just last week Sam started walking freely on his own. Sam and Max have been "cruising" for a long time now, which is the term for holding onto something, like a coffee table, and walking around it with support. Sam walked about two meters (~two yards for y'all 'Muricans) without any support, before finally sitting down. Since then he's walked numerous times, but he is still unsteady, and if he intends to get somewhere quickly--like to an open gate or dishwasher that we accidentally forgot to close--he'll prefer to speedily crawl.

As usual, here are more pictures since the last post.

| A couple of turkey heads |
I want to make it clear that we don't in any way stage these photos of the boys with so much food on their faces. They're slowly getting better at eating, but occasionally they somehow manage to get an entire piece of turkey stuck to their foreheads. The amazing part is that they don't seem to notice at all, which gives us ample time to run and get the camera if we're not too busy laughing.
