Halloween and a busy November

It's been a busy month! I fell behind on my picture sorting and processing, so this blog post has been a long time coming. For those of you that ever dabbled in photography, you know it's always easy to take photos, but choosing, sorting and processing them is the real work, which often gets shoved off into the distant future. Anyway, many things have happened since the last post. For Halloween we dressed the boys as the Super Mario Brothers, Mario and Luigi. Max was obviously Mario ("Maxio") and Sam was Luigi ("Samigi").

We didn't wind up taking the boys trick-or-treating this year, as they're still a bit too young to appreciate it, they definitely don't need the candy, and covid is still around. We did have fun getting them dressed, and we spent the afternoon at Grandma's house.

Toddlers typically don't have any property rights, and that is especially true in our house, where every article of clothing and every toy belongs to both boys equally... except for the puffy jackets. We always put Max in the light-mint colored jacket and Sam in the darker blue jacket. With the hoods up it's a little difficult even for us to tell them apart, so having them always in the same jackets makes it easy. Max=mint, Sam=the other one!

This sweater is one of the most adorable sweaters we've ever seen. It's a zip up hoodie but the hood is long and pointy, like a wizard's hat, so we call it the wizard sweater. I'll have to take some better pictures to show it better.

This car has a button which plays a really annoying theme song to a children's TV show, "Paw Patrol". Thankfully the boys aren't as interested in it anymore, but in the first few days of having this car they pressed that button approximately five thousand times.

Although covid is still at large, everyone eligible is vaccinated so we hosted a big Thanksgiving dinner, and had a bunch of family over. It was a great improvement over last year!

Charlie is often around at Grandma's house when we gather for Sunday dinner. He always hovers around the twins' booster seats, since they're prone to "accidentally" dropping food which Charlie gobbles right up. It helps keep the floors clean.

As I mentioned earlier, it's been a busy month. I'll do my best to stay on top of photos and posting, but these are busy days, but busy in a good way. Cheers!
