Thank you to Nana and Opa for sending the gifts. The socks do actually fit great, and we already use them regularly as our old ones are too small and these kids just won't stop growing.

Traditionally, Seattle puts on a fireworks show at the Space Needle to usher in the new year. The 2019/2020 show was cancelled due to strong winds (a bad omen of the year to come), and the 2020/2021 show was cancelled to avoid encouraging crowds, due to the pandemic. Thankfully, after three years of waiting, we finally enjoyed the show from our balcony once again.
